Last Saturday, Colleen and Pierson got married and we got the lovely opportunity to do their Solitude Links Wedding Photography on April 29, 2023. Their wedding day was simply beautiful and had so many unique details that we loved, from the Harry Potter earrings to walking down the aisle to a Taylor Swift (instrumental) song. Amanda and Dylan tied the knot last Saturday and officially wrapped up our 2022 wedding season for the year. We loved spending the day as their Richmond Michigan Wedding Photographer team. You may remember Casey and Philip from their beautiful autumn engagement photography session last year. We were thrilled when their 2022 wedding day finally arrived on Oct. 29th. While the title may be misleading, we loved being their Memphis Wedding photographer team…did you know that Michigan has a Memphis too? As luck would have it, Megan’s brother lives in Memphis TN, so if you happened to find us there, we love to travel. ha! As we were saying, their wedding ceremony was in Memphis, and we loved the scenic short drive out in the country to their church, as well as visiting Phil’s old family farm where the old farmhouse used to stand for photos afterward.  (more…)

We first met Kayla when she was about 14 hours old. You see, she’s my(Megan’s) cousin and has had a special place in my heart for a long time now. I watched Kayla grow up by babysitting her quite often as a baby and toddler, and then moved to California around the time she started elementary school. When I moved back to Michigan in 2016, Kayla was in high school and that’s when I got to know her the most, as a young adult and human- outside of baby bottles and diaper changes. It wasn’t long after that that I also met Tyler, because the two of them met while they were both in high school and have maintained a healthy and happy relationship while they both attended Michigan State for college. When Tyler proposed and they started planning their wedding, she reached out and I told her all about a brand new (old) barn that was being renovated to become a new wedding venue in the Port Huron area. She excitedly set up a call and booked it, and I was thrilled when she approached me to be their Impression Farms Wedding Photography team for their Oct. 2022 wedding. (more…)
