You may remember Sarah and Maciej from their engagement session in Grand Haven. They were the perfect couple to kick off our busy “summer wedding” schedule that first weekend in June. Because of all the busy pandemic re-schedules, Courtney and I have had to split up a few times and work with other people. So Serena and I (hi! We met MaryLyn and Chris back last fall during their engagement photography session in Port Huron. They both live about an hour away and were looking for a Metro Detroit Wedding Photography team for their upcoming May 2021 wedding at Solitude Links. Solitude Links is the perfect remote location for those couples looking for that “up north” feel in a venue, but don’t want to drive that far. The 45-50 min commute into the Port Huron area is an easy shot, and the location is one of our favorite “hidden gems.” (more…)
Last Friday, we packed up and headed about an hour and 15 min west of Port Huron to Goodrich Michigan to be Chelsea and Jim’s Creekside Acres wedding photographer team. We had never photographed there before, and love exploring new venues within our awesome state- especially rustic venues within an hour (or so) of the Bluewater Area. (more…)

Katie and Leo’s love story and how their Port Huron New Years Eve Micro Wedding came to fruition is a pretty amazing tale, full of love, sentiment, and even a little bit of magic. Leo and Katie first met years ago, and, let’s just say that her first impression of him wasn’t that she’d be marrying him one day in the future. They reconnected a bit later through their mutual best friend, Autumn. They started dating, and the rest is history.
