Lake Huron Wedding Photography | Elizabeth & Charles

Harbor Beach Wedding Photography Elizabeth & Charles were married on Friday, June 25th, 2021. The weather called for 100% chance of rain and we were a little nervous since the wedding was taking place at Elizabeth’s family cottage. She mentioned, “if it rains, we will just have to squeeze around the living room.” It is always our goal to provide a large variety of gorgeous images- so as we drove north along the coast and it was pouring rain, we weren’t sure what to expect. By the time we arrived to do their Lake Huron Wedding Photography, the skies weren’t as dark and the rain was lightening up. As soon as we turned onto Elizabeth’s road we felt we were transported some place magical that we had never been before. Each cottage we passed was grander than the last. All of them made of the most stunning natural materials like logs, cedar shake, and stone. As we parked in front of the beautiful blue cottage we already knew we never wanted to leave. (more…)

Country Theme Wedding Photography | Heather & James

Country theme wedding photographerHeather and James celebrated their marriage June 19th, 2021 at Solitude Links with a country spin-that we loved. It was especially fitting since we were connected by running into Heather’s mom at our local 4H office. 4H is something we both have in common and made for easy conversation when we finally met the bride and groom to be. When we first arrived at Solitude Links for their country themed wedding, the rain was pouring down. We had to move the ceremony indoors, but luckily the venue has gorgeous windows and an arbor they set up for their ceremony location. It was a beautiful alternative to the patio. Heather & James opted to stick to tradition and waited to see each other until the ceremony. Tears of joy flowed as Heather made her way up the aisle. They continued all through the ceremony and was the sweetest tribute to their love. As we wrapped up the ceremony the sun came out and we were able to explore Solitude Links expansive grounds for photos.  (more…)

St. Clair Inn Wedding Photographer | Grace & Andrew

We first met Grace and Andrew back in 2019, when they were planning their June 2020 wedding. And then COVID happened, and friends and family being in attendance meant far too much to them to scale their event back, so they postponed their event to June of 2021. We were thrilled they chose us to be their St. Clair Inn wedding photographer team. Megan and Serena got to tag team this all-day event, and hang out on the river with the two of them all day (and it was H-O-T. But they handled it like champs.) (more…)

Port Huron Same Sex wedding photographerHappy pride month, friends! Today we get to share a love story that is 9 years in the making. We can fully agree, along with most of their friends-it’s about time! We were thrilled when Rachel and Danielle trusted us to be their Port Huron same sex wedding photographer, and thought there was no better way to celebrate love and pride than post in the month of June. • Solitude Links Photography Team | Tiffani & Lucas

Solitude Links Wedding PhotographerWe first met Tiffani & Lucas back in 2019 which seems like a lifetime ago. From the start we connected immediately. We were so excited by Tiffani’s enthusiasm and the love pouring out of her as she and Lucas talked about their wedding details. We had planned a fall  Mulberry & Sage engagement session that turned out looking more like winter but they rolled with the weather. That was our first indication that they were a solid laid back couple. What felt like years later we finally got to celebrate their marriage June 5th, 2021 at Solitude Links. This is the perfect remote location for those couples looking for that “up north” feel in a venue, but don’t want to drive that far. Their grounds provide so much variation, we absolutely love the wooded and natural feel of the property. (more…)
