  • Kimball Michigan Wedding Photographer | Amelia & Wyatt

kimball wedding photographySome love stories just make you smile from the very beginning, and Amelia and Wyatt’s is definitely one of them. As your Kimball Michigan wedding photographer team, we’ve had the joy of capturing countless celebrations, but there was something extra special about these two from our very first meeting.

Their journey started back in college, and honestly, watching their relationship unfold has been like witnessing the most natural, beautiful thing. They just fit together – you know that rare kind of chemistry where everything feels effortless and genuine? That’s exactly what we saw on their wedding day at Solitude Links Michigan on September 20th.

The weather gods were absolutely on their side. Just as their ceremony was about to begin, the harsh direct sunlight softly tucked behind a cloud, creating the dreamiest, most romantic lighting. Those Solitude Links Kimball wedding photos practically took themselves with those gorgeous, picturesque clouds rolling in as the perfect backdrop. But here’s the magical part – right when we headed out for their sunset portraits, those clouds parted like curtains, giving us that golden hour glow every couple dreams of.

Their reception was pure joy. Seriously, the dance floor was absolutely electric all night long. There’s nothing better than when a couple’s happiness is so contagious that it gets everyone moving and celebrating right alongside them.

As a Michigan golf course wedding photographer, Solitude Links continues to be one of our favorite venues. The rolling greens, beautiful clubhouse, and scenic views create such a romantic setting for Port Huron area wedding photography. But what really made this day unforgettable wasn’t just the stunning venue – it was Amelia and Wyatt’s genuine love for each other that lit up every single frame.

Congratulations to the sweetest couple! Your love story is just getting started, and we couldn’t be happier for you both.

  • Summer Farm Wedding in Casco, Michigan | Tracey & Kevin

Summer Farm Wedding in Casco, Michigan | Tracey & Kevin

summer farm weddingSometimes the stars align for the most magical wedding days, and Tracey and Kevin’s celebration was absolutely one of those times. This sweet couple tied the knot on the last Saturday of August at their home church in Ira, Michigan, and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day to be their Michigan summer farm wedding photographer.

Mother Nature gifted us with the most gorgeous 65-degree summer day, complete with those dreamy billowy clouds that every photographer dreams of. Those clouds became our best friend, providing natural shade just when we needed it most for those stunning midday portraits that would normally have us scrambling for cover.

What struck us most about Tracey and Kevin was their incredible ease with each other. After eight years together since meeting at work, these two have that comfortable, joyful love that radiates in every photo. Even their pastor commented during the ceremony that by their demeanor, he would have assumed they’d been married for years! Their vows and commitment to each other were such a joy to witness – you could feel the genuine happiness filling that sacred space.

The real magic happened when we moved to their family’s historic farm for portraits. As a Michigan farm wedding photographer, there’s nothing quite like capturing love against the backdrop of a working farm that’s been in operation for over 100 years. That weathered farm sign telling the story of generations, the rustic barns, and the fields created the most authentic and meaningful setting for their photos. Every corner held memories and stories that made this location incredibly special to document.

We also had the pleasure of working alongside Lee from Ultimate Sounds DJ – always our favorite vendor collaboration! When great vendors come together, the magic just flows naturally.

Tracey and Kevin, thank you for letting us be your Michigan farm wedding photographer and capture this beautiful chapter of your love story. Here’s to many more years of that easy, joyful love! If you’re planning a Summer Farm Wedding, we’d love to connect.

Grand Rapids Leona Road Wedding Photographer | Aubrie & Evan

leona road wedding photographyMemorial Day weekend brought the perfect Michigan spring day for Aubrie and Evan’s wedding at the stunning Leona Road in Grand Rapids. As their Grand Rapids Leona Road wedding photographers, we were thrilled to capture their love story at this one-of-a-kind venue. Leona Road, a beautifully converted schoolhouse, was designed with photography in mind—thanks to its owners’ background as former wedding photographers. The modern, light-filled spaces and lush outdoor areas made every shot feel like a work of art. (more…)

  • Downtown Detroit Engagement Photography | Amelia & Wyatt

downtown detroit engagement sessionLast weekend was pure magic because we had the pleasure of capturing Amelia and Wyatt’s downtown Detroit engagement photography session. The city was buzzing with energy—Pistons and Tigers games were happening—but somehow, we lucked out with quiet streets and perfect weather in the 60s, with sunshine lighting up every moment.

We started at Campus Martius, where the tulips were popping off (seriously, they were stunning!). The beautifully landscaped gardens made for such a romantic backdrop, and Amelia and Wyatt’s chemistry was effortless. Laughs, stolen kisses, and a whole lot of love—it was the perfect start.

Next, we strolled down Woodward Ave, one of Detroit’s most iconic streets. The urban scenery gave their photos that classic city vibe—gritty yet full of life. Even with game day crowds nearby, the streets felt surprisingly open, letting us take our time and play with different angles.

Then, we ducked into the alley by the Z Lot, where the graffiti walls added an edgy, artsy feel. The contrast between the colorful murals and their soft, romantic connection created such dynamic shots. Finally, we headed up to theZ Lot rooftop, where the skyline views were unreal. As the sun dipped lower, the golden light wrapped everything in warmth—it was the perfect way to end their session.

Amelia and Wyatt were absolute naturals, and downtown Detroit delivered all the vibes. If you’re looking for downtown Detroit engagement photography that blends urban energy with timeless romance, let’s chat—we’d love to plan your perfect session too!

  • The Whitney Detroit Micro Wedding | Stephanie & Nate

micro wedding at the whitney in detroitI first met Stephanie back in 2018 when our kids went to Ross Preschool together. 7 years and multiple family sessions later, I was thrilled when she approached us to photographer her micro wedding at The Whitney in Detroit. Stephanie and Nate had a small wedding on April 12, 2025. Since it was both of their second weddings, the important parts for them was bringing both sides of their family together to witness their ceremony, and hosting just a very elegant yet casual dinner party to celebrate their new lives together.
