This beautiful, old sanctuary provided the perfect backdrop for Sammy and Brandon’s heartfelt ceremony. Of course, getting married in downtown Detroit on a busy sports day came with its unique challenges! With both a Lions game and a Tigers game happening simultaneously, navigating the was quite the adventure. But true to their laid-back spirits, Sammie, Brandon, and their entire wedding party rolled with the punches and made the best of the bustling city energy. The excitement in the air from all the game-day festivities only added to the celebratory mood of their wedding day and people were celebrating and honking from the streets left and right!

After their beautiful ceremony, we ventured to the iconic Belle Isle for their portrait session. Sammie wanted an organic and natural park feel and we found the perfect draping willow tree.

The celebration continued at the gorgeous Laurel Manor in Livonia, where the reception space was transformed into a romantic paradise.
